How can we inspire the champions of tomorrow?

We're championing female talent on and off the golf course.

At Aramco, we are continually looking to create new opportunities to showcase excellence. Whether that's identifying and supporting the next generation of talent, or creating an environment for the current one to thrive in. It's this vision that led us to create the Aramco Team Series, a unique and innovative platform for female golfers from across the globe.

The Aramco Team Series is the first professional golf tournament of its kind. Sanctioned by the European Ladies Tour, it teams the world's best female golfers with amateur players to compete on challenging courses in Bangkok, London, Sotogrande, New York, and Jeddah.

Each prestigious event boasts a high-quality field, including past Major, Order of Merit, and Solheim Cup winners. With Rolex Rankings, Solheim Cup ranking points, and the Race to Costa del Sol Official Rankings on the line, competition is fierce.

A unique draft system

Team Captains are chosen based on their Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings, and they each select one other player for their team. They are joined by another professional player assigned via a random draw, and one lucky amateur is then chosen to compete in the team of four.

The players then battle it out in both team and individual competitions at each event, bringing a new level of excitement to the Ladies European Tour.

Reaching new heights and inspiring excellence

The unique format enables all the golfers to take their game to new heights. For the amateurs, there’s the once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet and learn from their heroes, and for the professionals, the opportunity to support aspiring talent and inspire the next wave of female sports stars.

"I got so much good energy from my team. They are really supportive, so they just made me keep going… I never thought about winning and we did it as a team, so I’m just really happy."

Showcasing the brightest talents

From the first golf courses in the early 1940s, to launching Aramco Team Golf Series in 2021, good sportsmanship is part of our company’s history and values. We’re proud to have built eight of the Kingdom’s nine golf courses, and our investment in women’s golf is just one example of our commitment to showcasing female excellence in sports, science, and the energy industry.

Building a brighter future

Through our education initiatives, partnerships, sponsorships, leadership training, and mentoring programs, we are enabling more people than ever to explore and fulfill their true potential.

One example is our College Degree Program for Non-Employees (CDPNE), which enables high-school graduates to receive the training they need in STEM fields to excel in our downstream operations. We're also proud to be a member and supporter of Catalyst, a global non-profit organization that specializes in expanding opportunities for women and building inclusive workplaces.

There is more work still to be done, but today, we have more female employees than ever before working as leading engineers in the field, geologists in the lab, as inventors developing revolutionary processes and technologies, and as traders selling our oil and refined petroleum products to customers around the world.

How can we help engineer a better future.

In 1938, we discovered oil. We also discovered questions. Questions that would drive the culture of our company, our industry — even the world.
  • How? This question powers everything we do
