Ashraf A. Al Ghazzawi

Ashraf is Executive Vice President Strategy & Corporate Development.

His organization is responsible for new energies, energy markets analysis, strategic planning, new business development, and the development of National Champions.

Prior to his current role, Ashraf was the Vice President of Strategy & Market Analysis, where he led corporate strategy development, sustainability, investments planning, global energy market analysis, and enterprise risk management.

Ashraf was also Aramco Group Treasurer as well as the General Manager of Planning, Budgeting and Performance Management, a finance organization responsible for developing and overseeing Aramco business plans and group financial performance. Ashraf also held leadership positions at various organizations covering engineering, research, technology, and capital planning.

Ashraf is the Chairman of the Boards of Saudi Aramco Development Company, Sadara chemical company, Wa’ed, and is also a board director at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH).

Ashraf has been with Aramco for over 29 years. He has a PhD in Engineering from the University of Manchester and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for Leadership Development.
