Education
Aramco’s been involved in education since the establishment of our first official school, the Jebal School in Dhahran, in 1941. And, in 1954, we extended our educational ambitions beyond our own people and their families when Aramco opened its very first government school.
As of the end of 2024, we support 160 schools, including 147 public schools, seven Aramco-based schools, four private schools, and two special needs schools, serving approximately 83,000 students and 8,000 staff.
Supporting vocational education
In partnership with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and other stakeholders, we have established 12 training academies for young Saudis that provide training in various industry sectors through a sponsorship scheme.
Working in tandem with the Board of Energy Sector Training and the Saudi-based Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, we have helped thousands of young people graduate from Training Center programs.
Working alongside the Princess Nourah University and Wipro Arabia Limited, we also helped establish the Kingdom’s first all-women business and technology park. When it was inaugurated in 2016, the park was the largest hub of engineering drafting services, information technology, and business process and IT services in the region.
