Blood donation
Aramco’s blood donation efforts date back to the 1960s and continue today as a cornerstone of our community engagement, with growing employee participation in lifesaving drives. Employees are once again encouraged to contribute through this vital act of giving, helping ensure a sustainable blood supply for those in need.

Community volunteering is a core way Aramco supports social development by enabling individuals to contribute their time, skills, and energy to causes that benefit society. Through a range of initiatives, the company creates accessible opportunities for employees, their families, and members of the public to engage in meaningful service and strengthen community well-being in the areas where it operates.
Volunteering in Schools
Launched in 2023 in partnership with KFUPM’s AlFozan Academy, the Volunteering in Schools initiative aims to embed volunteerism within the education ecosystem from an early age. The program supports schools in establishing structured volunteer teams, training activity leaders, and delivering awareness sessions to students and faculty. It also guides participating schools toward certification under the Rasheed volunteerism standard, helping integrate volunteerism into school culture in a sustainable and measurable way.
Ithra Volunteer Program
The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), Dhahran’s events and arts hub, offers a volunteer program which empowers young people to grow, learn, and lead. Ithra’s volunteers play an active role in supporting cultural festivals, educational programs, and community events, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic creative environment. The program offers opportunities for skill-building, cultural engagement, and community service, with a strong focus on youth participation and personal development.
Olfa Animal Welfare
Through Olfa Animal Welfare, Aramco supports volunteer engagement in animal care and welfare. Olfa is an animal welfare group in Dhahran that rescues stray animals, provides them with medical care, and promotes responsible pet adoption in the Eastern Province. Opportunities with the Olfa Animal Welfare Program include shelter support, specialized professional roles, and public awareness activities, contributing to the promotion of compassion and responsible animal care.
