
Aramco Esports Partnership
From July 7 to August 24, 2025, Riyadh is hosting the Esports World Cup (EWC), of which Aramco is a both a sponsor and strategic partner. This partnership reflects Aramco’s broader focus on supporting digital transformation in Saudi Arabia.The Esports World Cup is part of a national effort to develop future-facing industries and create new platforms for global cultural and technological exchange.

The event brings together 2,000 elite players from over 100 countries and more than 200 clubs, competing in 25 tournaments across 24 games. The EWC originated as Gamers8 – Your Portal to the Next World in 2022, and has since evolved into a large-scale international esports and entertainment festival. It features professional tournaments, live performances, interactive fan zones, and more.
Taking place at Riyadh Boulevard City, the event is designed to be internationally accessible while reflecting Saudi Arabia’s increasing investment in digital infrastructure, youth engagement, and entertainment.

Among the key elements of our involvement in the Esports World Cup is the Aramco F1 Esports Sim Racing Grand Prix, a weekly simulation racing series that is a core part of the event.
In addition to event sponsorship, we support the wider esports ecosystem through engagement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), digital ecosystems, and Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies. The company collaborates with academic institutions to help equip Saudi youth with practical skills in areas such as coding, artificial intelligence, and virtual simulation. These initiatives contribute to the development of a digitally literate and innovation-ready generation.
